Now, they perform throughout the nation and offer Western, Country & Gospel music. Pegi Douglas upon moving to SD from North Carolina, discovered SD first poet laureate Badger Clark (from the Hills) and she set twenty of his poems to song. In 2012, she created a show "The Life And Music of Badger Clark" to be performed at Tatanka Theatre at Custer State Park. Buffalo Bill Boycott & Dr. Jo (Flower of the Prairie) With fiddle, banjo, mandolin and guitars these singers will give a feast of songs about cowboys, the Oregon Trail, The Transcontinental Railroad, Lewis & Clark, Stories in Traditional Native American Indian Sign Language, and Cowboy Poetry & World-Class Yodeling Bodhi Linde is a singer & songwriter from deep in the Black Hills of SD. At an early age he has played with other musicians in Mississippi, South Carolina and Kansas City. He can gracefully & beautifully jump from Country, Western, Blues and Jazz music. Harland Allen singer, songwriter, and entertainer sharing classic country or soft rock; anything from Hank Williams to Cat Stevens. Check out his original song "Dear Child" SDC Music Hall of Fame 2016 Sherl Cederburg this cowgirl poet is from the Black Hills of South Dakota. She collaborates with Pegi Douglas on programs presented by the SD Humanities Council. Sherl and the Ramblin' Rangers were interviewed by SDPB. Sherl was the 2022 Cowboy Poet winner for her CD of the Year. Be ready to laugh, cry and feel when you hear the words of Sherl.
